Women's Ministry

Invite - Grow - Love - Belong

Our Women’s Ministry aims to cultivate a vibrant, loving, supportive community amongst the women of St Marks across generations and congregations. To do this we run women’s events, fortnightly prayer group, women’s Bible studies, mentoring and informal relational support and prayer. We aim to both build up the existing women of St Marks and also reach out to women in our broader community in Wollongong through outreach events and opportunities to invite friends.

Events

Each term we run events that women from all our services are welcome to come along to and invite their friends. Events include dinners out at a restaurant, paint and sip afternoon, Mothers Day events, soup and dessert nights, an Op Shop crawl and attending day conferences both locally and in Sydney are some of the events that we run over the year.

Women’s Prayer Group

Our Women’s Prayer group is a space for women of different generations and congregations at St Marks to come together in fellowship and commit to the vital ministry of praying for each other, our church, community, country and world. We meet fortnightly on Saturday mornings at various members’ homes or cafes. Please join our FB group to stay updated!
